I recently tested a model 3.0 megapixel digital camera Cuddeback Trail. I was really excited about getting the thing going to see what he could do, so went straight home and began setting up.
For most of the set-up was fairly easy. I hoped the camera could take the batteries C size, as most do, but requires more cells D. After raiding a little flashlights that had the power I needed. I started to take a few snapshots with the hope that I would be able to get a quick look at the quality of pictures the camera forever. I took a few shots and he realized I had no way to see the photos. This off my enthusiasm a bit. The camera has no screen to view photos, and not come with a USB cable for downloading to a computer. I have no time to go to the store that day, the day went to get an SD card you could use to store the image and then put them on your computer. You can also buy a spectator, but I had to get an SD card anyway, so I took that path. I rather a camera with a display screen on it, but this is a level camera so I guess to keep costs down is not included. The camera's internal memory is not large and can not store the photos to be used in the field to be aware that you purchase an SD card to effectively use this camera no matter what. The internal memory only lets store the low resolution photos so it does not bother with this option. You will not be getting the best out of the camera and will have the convenience of a better capacity.
How was the field
There are two ways to configure the camera Cuddeback to a tree. I'm not a big fan of either of them. Option One is to screw the camera right into the tree. For some reason, I do not trust this, as I'm not sure how the tree remains the same, and I want to take my bag of tools to do some field photography. What if I forget the tool bag when I go to take the camera? The second option is a strap that is included with the camera. This seems a little better, but the elastic cords that probably work better than any of the options. There is a security option to block the case for any of these methods can be a bit safer, but the lock is not included with the camera. This is part of the course. At least you have the ability to get some security if you feel you need. It would be nice if you had a way of setting a more serious cable to the drive, but for this model you have to go with one of the options available and take your chances.
Overall, I am happy with the performance for the disbursement of cash, just be aware that must make some additional purchases to maximize performance.
