Fujifilm is a Japanese company known for its photographic film and cameras. It operates 223 branches of research, manufacturing and product distribution manufacturing facilities in Asia, Europe and North America. The products are distinct in their uniform containers.
The FinePix S700 offers some very powerful, as a 7-megapixel CCD sensor, 10x optical zoom (38-380mm), high resolution 2.5 inch LCD and EVF (Electronic Viewfinder), image stabilization mode image, VGA (640×480) 30fps video mode option with image stabilization, high ISO capability (up to ISO 1600), all packed in a compact SLR-style shell. This camera also includes a combination of xD-Picture card and SD memory card. While it may be used as a simple point-n-shoot camera with Auto, Scene, and program modes, the S700 offers a variety of advanced exposure settings, shutter priority, aperture priority and fully manual. Thus, this model can be used both beginners and amateur photographers alike.
The SLR-style body of the S700 offers a comfortable and pleasant sensation, thanks mainly to the hand deep rubber grip. Its controls are well organized and professional feeling. The versatile f3.5-f3.7 10x optical zoom provides a generous field of view of 38 – 380mm in 35 mm equivalence. From power to capture its first image takes about 1.8 seconds. Shutter lag, the time between pressing the shutter and capturing an image, is almost instantaneous.
The offer of the S700 a wide range of sensitivity of ISO 64 to ISO 1600. All users enjoy the smooth, essentially, noiseless images at ISO shot from 64 up to 200 while sporting shooters will appreciate the ability to shoot full high-resolution images at ISO 800 and 1600. While image quality suffers at high ISO settings, the ability to capture blur free images where the flash can be used is very useful and have an image with noise is better than none.
With so many digital cameras flooding the market, seems to be a FinePix S700 Fuji very capable and attractive digital camera. With 7 megapixels of resolution, 38-380mm versatile 10x optical zoom, plenty of useful exposure modes, great performance, and comfortable SLR style body, the S700 is hard to beat.
