Does it matter what the direction of the fixed camera in a bag?
I am looking for a camera bag. I've seen the type based on the camera goes down. I've seen them sideways, flat as a table, etc, which is safer have a camera bag? thanks.
The answer is actually depends on what you want to perform. A sheath for bag type, the question is not about the safest way to hold a camera, but to have the camera in a position to remove it and use it fairly quickly. General speaking, the weakest part of any SLR is the lens. Therefore, you want your camera and combination of lenses to be protected around the lens. Whatever bag you choose should not only be balanced, but you must protect your lens and body and should not be tipped over, course, unless you deliberately unbalanced.
