Does it matter what the direction of the fixed camera in a bag?
I am looking for a camera bag. I've seen the type based on the camera goes down. I've seen them sideways, flat as a table, etc, which is safer have a camera bag? thanks.
The answer is actually depends on what you want to perform. A sheath for bag type, the question is not about the safest way to hold a camera, but to have the camera in a position to remove it and use it fairly quickly. General speaking, the weakest part of any SLR is the lens. Therefore, you want your camera and combination of lenses to be protected around the lens. That's why camera bags in the backpack, place the lens in such a way that is more focused and protected. Next, you want your camera body and lens protected against damage from falls. Therefore, you will notice that most bags tend to pay relatively high SLR Body, which is good unless you plan to leave the bag upside down (an event unlikely). Also, put the body SLR high makes it accessible for use. You can make absolutely sure your camera in plastic bubble wrap inside a bag, but it is not practical for any type of use. Similarly, whatever bag you choose has to be something of a compromise between accessibility and protection. To choose a bag, choose one that is the size appropriate for your computer and fits well. If it's a backpack, the weight should be compatible with the hips, not your back. If this is a gadget bag, must be well balanced and have a comfortable strap and a handle. Compartments must be lined with ballistic nylon, I've seen cheaper synthetic felt-like lining, but throw dust and get kind of felt around, so avoid. Whatever bag you choose should not only be balanced, but you must protect your lens and body and should not be tipped over, course, unless you deliberately unbalanced.
