How can I see my computer on my big screen?
I have a HD TV and a laptop I bought about two years ago. Can anyone tell me what type of cables required to receive audio and video on the big screen. I have all kinds of connections on my TV (HDMI, AV, PC Port)
Best way to connect a computer to an HDTV is via HDMI / DVI because it is a digital signal. Computer DVI ports can be connected to HDTV via HDMI a DVI-to-HDMI cable. You can also connect the PC to the HDTV using a VGA VGA standard VGA monitor cable, if your computer only has a VGA port. This is not as good as DVI / HDMI, because VGA is analog, but is the best option. I'm using a 52 "LCD HDTV as my monitor, and is connected to my computer using a DVI-to-HDMI cable. It works perfectly.
