How to get videos from my sony handycam DCR-DVD 7 from camera to computer?
The software costs $ 50 actual, I wondered if anyone had the same camera and he knew a way. I tried some converters but the quality of the video after it was terrible. if anyone knows a good converter or a way to get Sony's current inventory software that would be great.
Well, it seems that your camcorder records to DVD, right? Then just pop the disc into the drive DVD on your computer and you can copy the VOB files on your computer there. No need to turn anything, VOB MPEG2 files can be played. Windows Media Player can play those. Since the disc has no copy protection, you can freely copy files without software. Now, if you need a job additional files, then you have to specify what you want done with them. However, the actual transfer from one disk to the computer should be in Windows Explorer with a lossless audio quality. Have fun Johnny
